hello there,


               i am not able to access my ntfs partition,


               it is asking 'root user ' for accessing,some thing like that


              i what it them to access as an user,


             i changed my permissions , and did some thing


                but cant able to access,them,in fedora & Ubuntu it is a direct click, can any one help me

check your /etc/fstab file for ntfs permissions..make sure that the ntfs option carries "noauto,users,exec,rw"  values.


example in my machine..it is


/dev/sda1 /mnt/disk[sda1] ntfs noauto,users,exec,rw,umask=000,locale=en_US.UTF-8 0 0
